Last year, we had the opportunity to replace the roof on this Enola, PA home, installing an Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing System in Desert Rose. When a severe storm came through the area this June, unfortunately, the home was hit and this time with significant damage from a fallen tree.
The tree came down on the front corner of the house, breaking multiple roof trusses, damaging the roof overhang, and actually breaking through the exterior wall of the home. As anyone could understand, this was much more than a simple roof repair. The structural damage had to be addressed quickly and efficiently before we could rebuild the affected portion of the home.
Our team carefully cut out the damaged sections of the trusses, restructured the affected areas, and plated the trusses to restore the structural integrity of the roof. From there, we rebuilt the damaged exterior and brought everything back together with new fascia, soffit, siding, house wrap, gutters and roofing.
A Complete Exterior Restoration
The front slope of the roof was rebuilt and reroofed with a new Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing System, including new ridge venting. We also replaced the damaged siding with Mastic Ovation Series siding in Pebblestone Clay, complemented by Urban Bronze shutters and matching siding accessories.
The finished result restores the home's protection while also giving the front of the house a clean, cohesive appearance.
This project also means the homeowner also has a new Lifetime Warranty Owens Corning roofing system, adding another layer of confidence after experiencing such significant storm damage. Their Mastic siding and accessories are covered by a VIP transferable lifetime warranty as well.
